Admittedly, works by George Turner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Scotch Ford, Ben Voirlich in the Distance in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 10,222.50 (€ 16,203.92).
