In the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Farmhouse in Winter changed hands for USD 66,000.00 (€ 49,059.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George William Sotter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Miller'S House, which sold at auction in May 2006 for USD 192,000.00 (€ 149,614.28).
