Auction result well in line with expectations
The work What'S The Weather Today? by George Smith was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,485.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Home - Be It Ever So Humble in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 54,000.00 (€ 80,202.47).
