It achieved a price of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,720.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Pyne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eton from the North Terrace of Windsor Castle, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,283.63).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.720,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von George Pyne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eton from the North Terrace of Windsor Castle beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.283,63) versteigert wurde.
