Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by George Pusenkoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2014. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Big Blured Grid 1 sold for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 51,493.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by George Pusenkoff; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Window #3 sold at auction in December 2016 with the realized price of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 84,764.26).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von George Pusenkoff erzielte im Dezember 2014 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Under the Influence wurde die Arbeit Big Blured Grid 1 für GBP 40.000,00 (€ 51.493,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von George Pusenkoff; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Window #3 im Dezember 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 84.764,26).
