Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work The Speeding Day by George Graham for GBP 480.00 (€ 700.64). This price was achieved in the auction British and Victorian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by George Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View of Rye Harbour in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,145.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Speeding Day von George Graham für GBP 480,00 (€ 700,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Victorian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View of Rye Harbour im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.145,82).
