Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by George Graham could be acquired at Christies in London in August 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Haarlem changed hands for GBP 240.00 (€ 350.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 250.00 – 350.00. Admittedly, works by George Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View of Rye Harbour in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,145.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von George Graham konnte im August 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES wechselte die Arbeit Haarlem für GBP 240,00 (€ 350,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 250,00 – 350,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View of Rye Harbour im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.145,82).
