Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The speeding day by George Graham was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 384.00 (€ 565.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00. Admittedly, works by George Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View of Rye Harbour in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,145.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The speeding day von George Graham wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 565,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 400,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View of Rye Harbour im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.145,82).
