A top price for George Graham - as previously expected
In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS ON PAPER, which included the work A View of Rye Harbour by George Graham. The price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,145.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,800.00 – 2,400.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A View of Rye Harbour is the most expensive artwork by George Graham that we have observed at auctions so far.
