Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work A small quantity of watercolours by George Graham for GBP 293.75 (€ 491.53). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by George Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View of Rye Harbour in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,145.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A small quantity of watercolours von George Graham für GBP 293,75 (€ 491,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View of Rye Harbour im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.145,82).
