Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Lake Orta, Northern Italy by George Edwards Hering. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,272.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Edwards Hering achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Isola San Guilo, Lake Orta in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,855.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lake Orta, Northern Italy von George Edwards Hering zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.272,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Edwards Hering erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Isola San Guilo, Lake Orta im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.855,24).
