The price achieved of GBP 478,800.00 (€ 571,772.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by George Dunlop Leslie have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2002 the work Pot-Pourri was auctioned for GBP 446,650.00 (€ 699,430.87).
