The work Congested coastal waters with a Dutch barge making ready to enter a busy harbour by George Chambers Jnr. was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,314.50 (€ 1,967.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
