Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Children At The Tower by George Bernard O'Neill was sold in the Victorian, British and Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,016.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Bernard O'Neill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Day, the arrival of the Hippodrome in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 47,800.00 (€ 71,140.72).
