Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work "Reinhold Svensson, den blinde pianisten, 1956" by Georg Oddner for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 563.52). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Georg Oddner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Den dansande matrosen, Kiev", 1955 in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,836.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Reinhold Svensson, den blinde pianisten, 1956" von Georg Oddner für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 563,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Oddner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Den dansande matrosen, Kiev", 1955 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 35.000,00 (€ 3.836,14).
