Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Hunters Dream by Geoffrey Key was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,816.00 (€ 3,263.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Geoffrey Key have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Piccadilly, Manchester in March 2012 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,985.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Hunters Dream von Geoffrey Key kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.816,00 (€ 3.263,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Geoffrey Key auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Piccadilly, Manchester im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.985,19).
