Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figure Entering a Room by Geoffrey Key was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,485.61). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Geoffrey Key - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piccadilly, Manchester, which sold at auction in March 2012 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,985.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figure Entering a Room von Geoffrey Key kam im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.485,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Geoffrey Key mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piccadilly, Manchester beobachtet, die im März 2012 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.985,19) versteigert wurde.
