In October 2000 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction WESTERN PROPERTY FROM THE KATHERINE H. HALEY TRUST, which included the work Apache Women at the Fiesta by Gene Kloss. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,585.00 (€ 3,046.19), 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gene Kloss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,812.50 (€ 23,569.92).

Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion WESTERN PROPERTY FROM THE KATHERINE H. HALEY TRUST durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apache Women at the Fiesta von Gene Kloss zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.585,00 (€ 3.046,19) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gene Kloss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 23.569,92).
