Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gede Mahendra Yasa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. In the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Triptych sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 14,536.38) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gede Mahendra Yasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Origen's Gambit in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,750,000.00 (€ 188,414.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gede Mahendra Yasa erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Triptych für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 14.536,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gede Mahendra Yasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Origen's Gambit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.750.000,00 (€ 188.414,02).
