This artwork by Gede Mahendra Yasa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. In the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Toys and Soldiers sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,820.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gede Mahendra Yasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Origen's Gambit in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,750,000.00 (€ 188,414.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gede Mahendra Yasa erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Toys and Soldiers für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.820,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gede Mahendra Yasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Origen's Gambit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.750.000,00 (€ 188.414,02).
