In November 2021 Christies held the auction Middle Eastern 20th and 21st Century Art, which included the work Mother Desert by Gazbia Sirry. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,028.53), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gazbia Sirry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Egyptian the Garden , which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,640.90).
