Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Humanity by Gazbia Sirry was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 28,020.00 (€ 32,962.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 18,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gazbia Sirry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Egyptian the Garden , which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,640.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Humanity von Gazbia Sirry kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 28.020,00 (€ 32.962,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gazbia Sirry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Egyptian the Garden beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 92.640,90) versteigert wurde.
