Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,156.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gavin Jantjes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work South African a South African Colouring Book, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 77,500.00 (€ 87,396.09).
