A top price for Gavin Jantjes
In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work South African a South African Colouring Book by Gavin Jantjes. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 77,500.00 (€ 87,396.09), 29% above the upper estimate. With this result, South African a South African Colouring Book is even the most expensive work of art by Gavin Jantjes that we have observed at auctions so far.
