Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'It is our peoples' by Gavin Jantjes was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,850.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gavin Jantjes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work South African a South African Colouring Book in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 77,500.00 (€ 87,396.09).

Die Arbeit 'It is our peoples' von Gavin Jantjes kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.850,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gavin Jantjes erzielen.
