Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hue Annam by Gaston Roullet was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,710.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaston Roullet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vue de Tourane au Vietnam, which sold at auction in December last year for EUR 16,575.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hue Annam von Gaston Roullet kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.710,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gaston Roullet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vue de Tourane au Vietnam beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für EUR 16.575,00 versteigert wurde.
