In January 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work A Landscape With A River Running Through A Forest, A Shepherd And His Flock Resting On The Bank by Gaspard Dughet. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,333.33), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaspard Dughet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A wooded landscape with figures by a river in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 237,188.87).

Im Januar 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Landscape With A River Running Through A Forest, A Shepherd And His Flock Resting On The Bank von Gaspard Dughet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.333,33) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaspard Dughet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures by a river im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 237.188,87).
