Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Garth Weiser could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the On Paper | Online auction, the work Untitled (grey #1) changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,098.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Garth Weiser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,299.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Garth Weiser konnte im Februar 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion On Paper | Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (grey #1) für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.098,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Garth Weiser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.299,29).
