Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu by Gao Yong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,778.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Gao Yong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Running Script Calligraphy was auctioned for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,633.50).
