This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Plum Blossoms the most expensive artwork by Gao Yehou that we have observed at auctions so far.
