Admittedly, works by Gao Yehou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plum Blossoms in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 44,263.42).

Die Arbeit Red Plum Blossom von Gao Yehou kam im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.545,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gao Yehou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plum Blossoms im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 44.263,42).
