In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Vice 20130801 by Gao Weigang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,047.92), 41% above the upper estimate. Other works by Gao Weigang have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 201,600.00 (€ 22,328.84) in October 2020 for the work Superstructure.

Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vice 20130801 von Gao Weigang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.047,92) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Gao Weigang haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 201.600,00 (€ 22.328,84) im Oktober 2020 für die Arbeit Superstructure beobachtet.
