This artwork by Gao Jian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Landscapes After Tang Yin sold for HKD 204,000.00 (€ 21,244.15) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gao Jian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 552,000.00 (€ 52,381.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Jian erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Landscapes After Tang Yin für HKD 204.000,00 (€ 21.244,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gao Jian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 552.000,00 (€ 52.381,93) versteigert wurde.
