The work Landscape in the Wind by Gao Jian was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,112.75) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gao Jian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 552,000.00 (€ 52,381.93).

Die Arbeit Landscape in the Wind von Gao Jian wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.112,75) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gao Jian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 552.000,00 (€ 52.381,93) versteigert wurde.
