Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brewing Tea under Pines by Gao Jian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 8,688.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gao Jian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 552,000.00 (€ 52,381.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brewing Tea under Pines von Gao Jian kam im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 8.688,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gao Jian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 552.000,00 (€ 52.381,93).
