A top price for Kishi Gantai - as previously expected
The work Lions by Kishi Gantai was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,800.00 (€ 5,832.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lions is the most expensive artwork by Kishi Gantai that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Lions von Kishi Gantai kam im März 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.800,00 (€ 5.832,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Lions das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kishi Gantai, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
