In March 2006 Christies in New York held the auction MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY INDIAN ART, which included this untitled work by Ganesh Haloi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 26,400.00 (€ 21,748.08), 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ganesh Haloi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 50,250.00 (€ 59,532.68).

Im März 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY INDIAN ART durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ganesh Haloi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 26.400,00 (€ 21.748,08) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Haloi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 50.250,00 (€ 59.532,68) versteigert wurde.
