This artwork by Ganesh Haloi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2021. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Landscape) sold for GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,420.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ganesh Haloi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 50,250.00 (€ 59,532.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ganesh Haloi erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) für GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.420,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Haloi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 50.250,00 (€ 59.532,68) versteigert wurde.
