In December 2018 Bonhams in London held the auction South Asian Art Online Sale, which included this untitled work by Ganesh Haloi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,874.14), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ganesh Haloi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 59,532.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ganesh Haloi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.874,14) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Haloi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.250,00 (€ 59.532,68).
