It achieved a price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,986.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ganesh Haloi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 50,250.00 (€ 59,532.68).

Die Arbeit Manikarnika Ghat von Ganesh Haloi kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.986,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Haloi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 50.250,00 (€ 59.532,68) versteigert wurde.
