Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2008 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Ganesh Haloi for GBP 4,250.00 (€ 5,406.19). This price was achieved in the auction Indian Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ganesh Haloi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 59,532.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2008 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ganesh Haloi für GBP 4.250,00 (€ 5.406,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Indian Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Haloi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.250,00 (€ 59.532,68).
