Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gaetano Gandolfi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in April 2021. In the Furniture and Old Master Paintings auction, the work Bust of a bearded man sold for EUR 80,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 38,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaetano Gandolfi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana and Callisto in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 4,114,500.00 (€ 2,966,474.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gaetano Gandolfi erzielte im April 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Furniture and Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit Bust of a bearded man für EUR 80.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 38.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Gandolfi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana and Callisto im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.114.500,00 (€ 2.966.474,41).
