Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Etude De Têtes by Gaetano Gandolfi was sold in the Old Master & 19th century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaetano Gandolfi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana and Callisto in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 4,114,500.00 (€ 2,966,474.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Etude De Têtes von Gaetano Gandolfi wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Gandolfi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana and Callisto im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.114.500,00 (€ 2.966.474,41).
