Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision, which included the work Italian La Pappa by Gaetano Chierici. The price achieved of GBP 132,500.00 (€ 185,534.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaetano Chierici - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'ultimo nato, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 248,650.00 (€ 384,605.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian La Pappa von Gaetano Chierici zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 132.500,00 (€ 185.534,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Chierici mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'ultimo nato beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für GBP 248.650,00 (€ 384.605,24) versteigert wurde.
