Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Surprised! by Gaetano Chierici. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 212,500.00 (€ 233,310.87). Other works by Gaetano Chierici have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 248,650.00 (€ 384,605.24) in June 2002 for the work L'ultimo nato.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Surprised! von Gaetano Chierici zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 212.500,00 (€ 233.310,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Chierici haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 248.650,00 (€ 384.605,24) im Juni 2002 für die Arbeit L'ultimo nato beobachtet.
