Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italian all Gone! by Gaetano Chierici was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,888.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gaetano Chierici have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'ultimo nato in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 248,650.00 (€ 384,605.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Italian all Gone! von Gaetano Chierici wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.888,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaetano Chierici auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'ultimo nato im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 248.650,00 (€ 384.605,24).
