This artwork by Gabriel Deschamps achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2005. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Spéracedes, Cabris, France sold for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,327.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by Gabriel Deschamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Panorame D'Eze in February 2009 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,897.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gabriel Deschamps erzielte im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit Spéracedes, Cabris, France für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.327,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gabriel Deschamps auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Panorame D'Eze im Februar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.897,65).
