Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mediterranean path by Gabriel Deschamps was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in October 2005. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 566.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriel Deschamps achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panorame D'Eze in February 2009 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,897.65).

Die Arbeit Mediterranean path von Gabriel Deschamps wurde im Oktober 2005 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 566,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriel Deschamps erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panorame D'Eze im Februar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.897,65).
