Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dragon by Feng Mingqiu was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,577.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Feng Mingqiu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2015 the work Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) was auctioned for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dragon von Feng Mingqiu wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.577,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Feng Mingqiu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2015 die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97) versteigert.
