Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Tenku: Sho (Heaven: Soaring), ca. 2007 by Fukami Sueharu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,374.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Fukami Sueharu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014 in March this year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,947.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tenku: Sho (Heaven: Soaring), ca. 2007 von Fukami Sueharu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.374,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fukami Sueharu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 57.947,02).
